I took this picture almost a month ago now, and I really love it.
The song is I Heard it Through the Grapevine, in case anyone was wondering.
The rose was from my meme's funeral on October 1st, and I wanted it in a picture, so even after it died away, I would still have it. (Of course I also pressed it in my journal, so I guess I really do still have it. Oh well.)
The funny thing is, I set up my photography session on top of my television that day because my room was too much of a mess to do it anywhere else. ^^;

that is really pretty.
i have the rose the was used to represent me (each grand child and great grandchild had a rose at my great grandmother's funeral) but i dont know how to press flowers so its sitting on my dresser. i cannot touch it it is that dried out. but the color stayed :)

That's what they did at my meme's funeral too, all the grandchildren were white, and all the great grandchildren were yellow. I also have the ribbon that was tied around the rose.
I'm not sure if I press them the right way, but I just put them in my journal and then put something heavy on it.

oh wow this is so pretty! i really like how the focus kinda blurs in the background and ahh i don't even know what else to say except that i love this piece a lot :D
