Trying so hard,
Reaching new heights,
Just to fall harder,
Off from the top.
Reaching so far,
Hoping anew,
For impossible dreams,
That shatter like glass.
She picks her self up,
Dusts herself off,
Holds her head high,
And keeps moving on.
The hope doesn’t fade,
The dreams stay strong,
She will not give in,
To their selfish ways.
They want to break her,
To prove that she’s wrong,
But she’ll show them all,
How far she’s come.
